Rupert Alexander Lloyd Grint movies Rupert Grint I am the son of Nigel and Jo Grint Parsons. Rupert acted in school productions and local theater group. He decided to make one too.

He is a fan of Harry Potter, had read all the books, when heard in one of his favorite programs, "Newsround" who were looking for boys for the role of Ron Weasley, he immediately sent her photo and an auto-summary with hope, but not great expectations. After waiting a week without response, Rupert learned that other boys were sending videos of themselves to increase the chances of getting the role

. He did a rap, talking about Ron and why he wanted the role to film a script of a small part of the story of Harry Potter, Ron in which he played. After all that work, he finally was called to numerous tests and met with director Christopher Columbus and the author JK Rowling. When she learned she had been chosen for the role, Rupert almost fainted. He always wanted to be an actor and took lessons for two years of drama. Before the Harry Potter films, he only acted in school plays. Rupert Grint was 12/13 years old when he began shooting the first film, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
