As the story goes Basquiat was able to convince Warhol that he should go back to painting by hand. A practice that Warhol had abandoned years ago. It worked well. ‘Third Eye’ embodies the ongoing conversation that the two artists were having with each other through their collaborative work. All contrast and chaos. Really dig the color.
