Few weeks ago asked me to stress test their beta build of the 2nd Gen Wireless Tethering on R5 MK II. It was a blast to work with the amazing and smash through 15,000 shots in a few hours. I was able to utilise my newly built network equipment (created for an unrelated secret project) which performed spectacularly.

I’m super excited to share some snippets from latest YouTube Video Series of the release of the Camera Companion App.

Darrel from has kindly recommended my iPad Mini and Pro plates to Arri Marketing team in Germany who have asked me to send some demo units.

The iPad Mini plates were created for this exact reason - for DIT’s and Camera Assistant to be able to control Arri Cameras directly from their iPads via WiFi or long range devices such as the .fr Setlink.

It’s such an honour and a feeling of accomplishment to be recognised and for my products to be used in video series 🙏🏼

I’m delighted to announce the LSdigi iPad Mini Cheeseplate kit - which is probably my worst kept secret during development 😝. The iPad Pro kit has been by far my most popular product and I’m super happy to build on its success and share the baby version.

The new SLS Mounting Brackets are super tough and designed to protect the iPad during on set use. The current brackets are compatible with Gen 6 iPad Mini and the latest A17 8.3” Mini, however if Apple change the shape of the Mini in the future - new Brackets will be released to accommodate it (so the same plate can be used).

The hood has been expertly made by with the same design as the Pro version which uses super tough Cordura material, reinforced walls and allows it to be used in Portrait and Landscape orientation.

Designed with the concept of allowing customers maximum amount of mounting options with plenty of 3/8 and 1/4 threads (and official spec Arri locating holes) and recessed holes for fitting Anchors for super quick attachment of neck straps or 4-way Directors straps making these super lightweight and portable options for Gaffers, Digitechs, DIT’s & Photographers.

I’ll be sharing lots of cool suggestions of using this!

Introducing my latest and favourite product - a baby pin adapter that can be mounted to the Voyager cart using the pre-drilled holes on either side of the cart. This adapter allows you to mount various accessories - such as the Digiplate, iPads, video monitors, wireless TX units and lots more.

I came up with this as I wanted a quick attachment without ever needing to mount / dismantle every time you build the cart. Simply insert the baby pin and you’re ready to go.

It can work with other carts too, however you would need to drill 2x holes 2.25” apart to accept the 2x 5/16-18 screws which are supplied for the assembly.

The baby pin has 3/8-16 holes at the top and bottom for even more uses, and the main body has two 3/8-16 threads at the top and bottom too. In one of the photos you’ll see it used with the Rudy Arm, which I’m a huge fan of.

It has been a big and exciting year, and this setup has been key in allowing me to handle stills + motion projects. A LOT of time has gone into configuring this to support Live-Streaming stills as well as multi cam video feeds through cloud networks. A stable network kit is inbuilt in the rack to allow a decent internet connection which can also be shared via multiple Wireless Access Points covering a huge range (several studios or large / multi storey location houses).
