Casting Read-through for Our Next Production

An evening provisionally entitled Watching the Detectives, we will be performing two one act plays by Tom Stoppard - After Magritte & The Real Inspector Hound - directed by Sean Wilkinson. The reading (there will be two) will be on Friday 03rd July at 7.30pm at the Forest Community Centre (The Shack).

The performance dates are; 23rd, 24th and 25th October 2026.

After Magritte - a surreal comedy. A police Inspector walks into what appears to be a bizarre family scene. They then make a series of illogical deductions.

The Real Inspector Hound - two theatre critics named Moon and Birdboot who are watching a ludicrous country house murder mystery, become involved in the action causing a series of events that parallel the play they are watching

If you cannot make the 3rd but wish to be involved, please let us know.

Some exciting news! We are now partnering with Trybooking for online ticket sales!
This means that going forward, there will be ONE web address for tickets, tinyurl.com/DramaWorkshopE17 which will also show previous productions and have links to our social media, acting as a one stop shop! The site is up NOW and will be tweaked as we get to know the site and how it works better.
The other good news is that the Booking Fees are only 65p for a full price ticket and 50p for a Concessions ticket, which is less than HALF that of before so you save money and hopefully have a better experience! Please let us know how you get on and if you have any problems just let me know!
