I saw so many baller cosplays over the weekend, including in her amazing Miriam fit, and as Team Rocket's best girl. Sorry to Volo and N whose handles I didn't catch, but you were both great too!

Huge congratulations to the finalists and winners, it was so cool to watch you perform on such a grand stage, and so well deserved 👏 🏆

While at I had the pleasure of bumping into Captain Fidget!

It was brief as we had to rush to catch our train, but in the time I had with with him he was just as kind and cheerful as he comes across on his channel and the Goldenrod Podcast (check it out if you haven't! I'd recommend their deep dive episode on Mewtwo Strikes Back 💜)

It's not lost on me that in just a few short months I've met people who I've been watching and listening to for years of my life. So grateful to be part of this community, and it's only just beginning! 🙏

Pokémon Part 1️⃣

I'd never been to a Championships before, but since dipping my toe in at , I think it will become a regular occurrence from now on!

It was such a blast to be surrounded exclusively by thousands of people who love Pokémon as much as I do. Even the staff, who were delightful all weekend, were fans; I spent a good amount of time just chatting to them about our favourite elements of the franchise.

Much of day one was spent in The Pokémon Center, which was a bucket list item in itself... though I think I'm going to need a bigger bucket to carry everything I bought 💸 At least there's plenty of room in my wallet now! 🥲

All in all, the energy in the ExCeL Center was magic, and I can't wait to get back and do it all over again. What event should I attend next? 🤔
