Victim’ is a whimsical illustration of the beautiful Ukrainian women being ‘hunted’ by the European men of the places they moved to. Murashkina makes a lighthearted observation of the seductive qualities of Ukrainian women and how this attracts these new men around them. The animal heads represent their natural human instinct as well as Egyptian mythology. The piece is full of glamour and playfulness, with the woman spread out leisurely atop a friendly lion. She takes pleasure in attracting these men around her. Murashkina creates a playful scene showing how, despite everything, the beauty and confidence of these women remains.

Peaceful Sky, Nikita Zigura, Land Art Denmark, 2022.

Shadow of the Bayraktar in Denmark.

The idea of making a shadow of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) came to me back in 2015, as a reflection of the events in Donbas. But it was only possible to implement it now.

A field sown with wheat, a neatly trimmed lawn, houses in the distance... All this is a peaceful landscape, a peaceful country. And then suddenly, in this quiet and peaceful place, we see the shadow of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
It's like the shadow of a hawk over a field where hares run - immediately causes a state of anxiety, danger... This is something from our subconscious... The sky above our head should be clear and bright. The sky is our hope, it is not for nothing that people, turning to God, look up, where the sun and stars are... Looking up there always gives us bright thoughts and hopes. It is something from our past.
And now - what is happening in our present. The sky is becoming the greatest danger for man. Hundreds of missiles are flying from the sky, bringing death and destruction.
But now we are already used to it. Now even heaven is being taken away from us, hope is being taken away...
