Tonight we return to our beloved residency venue the Hexagon, marking our first concert in Reading of our 2026–27 Season!

This evening the Orchestra will be joined by conductor Kristian Sallinen and the Orchestra's Principal Clarinet Katherine Lacy for a stirring performance of Mozart’s serene Clarinet Concerto. The emotional programme will also include Beethoven’s Egmont Overture and Brahms’ First Symphony.

Tonight we return to G Live, Guildford for our first concert in Guildford of our 2026–27 Season!

We are honoured to kick off the fifteenth Guildford International Concert Season with conductor Kristian Sallinen leading us in a beautiful programme, which includes Beethoven’s thrilling Egmont Overture, Brahms’ monumental First Symphony, and Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto performed by our brilliant Principal Clarinet Katherine Lacy.

It'll be a magnificent start to our new season in Guildford and we can't wait!

Experience Anne Nikitin’s The Moonwalkers live at the Royal Albert Hall. Hear the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Anthony Gabriele, bring the score to life as you journey to the lunar surface through an immersive film narrated by Tom Hanks, featuring original NASA footage, Andy Saunders’ remarkable Apollo Remastered images, and interviews with Artemis astronauts.

Yesterday, both our Conductor-in-Residence, Adam Hickox, and Artist-in-Residence, Liya Petrova, took to the stage at Cadogan Hall for a powerful evening of music. 🎻🎶

The programme opened with Bacewicz’s bold wartime Overture and was followed by Sibelius’ mighty Violin Concerto, before concluding with the eloquent beauty of Vaughan Williams’ Symphony No.5.

🚨New tickets for Joe Hisaishi at the Royal Albert Hall on Monday 23 November released!

The programme will feature the world-renowned composer conducting the UK premiere of two of his own illuminating pieces.

Hisaishi’s Adagio for 2 Harps and Strings was born from the composer's wish to write 'a generous ode to nature and humanity’, and his Concerto for Orchestra sets colour, rhythm and imagination loose across the whole orchestra. Alongside them, the concert will feature David Lang's mountain, a striking contemporary voice whose music moves between intimacy and grandeur.

This is Hisaishi beyond the screen: an endlessly inventive creator of music for the concert hall, and a chance to hear a side of him that cinema audiences rarely get to experience.

Fire and ice with Sibelius, Vaughan Williams and Bacewicz❄️🔥🎻

Today we have the great pleasure of welcoming to the stage both our Conductor-in-Residence Adam Hickox and Artist-in-Residence Liya Petrova for our 2026–27 Season at Cadogan Hall.

Opening with Grażyna Bacewicz’s defiant Overture, Liya then performs Sibelius' Violin Concerto, which soars and dances with passion across a breathtaking Finnish landscape. The evening closes with Vaughan Williams' rapturously beautiful vision of peace written amidst the Second World War, his Symphony No.5.
