Such a great day working with the talented year 12 drama students at Brecon High School
I love day long sessions as it gives us a chance to do a deep dive into the techniques of a practitioner. We focussed on re-imagining scenes from '100' using the style of Berkoff and Total Theatre.
Nea, Sam, Tudor, Tyler and Sam worked their socks off and came up with some beautifully physical and inventive scenes.
Kudos to them for working so hard and being brave.
It was a delight and I can't wait to hear how they get on. ☺️☺️

From a U Grade to a High C ! 🙌🎉🎭

Absolutely delighted with Evies A-Level Drama exam results and receiving such positive feedback from her mum 🥳

Evie is a strong performer but struggled significantly with her essay structure for AQA Drama.

She was so disappointed when she failed her mocks and was predicted a U in her exams. We worked together with tailor made 1:1 online sessions for her Metamorphosis, Antigone and Live Performance papers, looking at ways of breaking down the questions and answering in clear and imaginative ways using specific drama terminology and references to the social, cultural and historical context.

I am so proud of her and how hard she worked and am over the moon that the high C grade she was hoping for will now open more doors and pave the way for opportunities in higher education and beyond. Bravo 👏 👏

A huge thankyou 🙏 and what an honour and a privilege to be a guest practitioner networking weekend 🎭

I lead 3 x 80 minute practical sessions on ways to introduce the theory and physicality of Brecht, Berkoff and Artaud.

I also had the rare and wonderful opportunity to meet and work alongside a group of 70 strong, vibrant, fun and passionate drama teachers.

And what a joy to also have the chance to learn from other practitioners. I attended sessions by the fantastic

Thankyou for sharing your ideas, skills and considerable expertise. Your sessions gave me numerous 'pinch me' moments alongside a treasure chest of ideas I am certain will inspire my own workshops and shows.
