Our team is Duncan Hamilton, Jamie Hamilton, Ben Edson, Jack Hackney, Nick Smith and Emily Duffy. Commissions range from media and promotional campaigns, to movies, art projects and theatrical productions. With clients including Justin Timberlake, Elton John, Steven Spielberg and the Royal Family, Duncan Hamilton is the country’s leading ice sculptor making only uniquely hand-carved pieces. After 40 years in the business we can carve almost anything from ice that will look sensational and cause a stir. What’s more, because we do not mould any of our ice, we guarantee something truly different - a unique original of the highest hand-sculpted quality. We also give masterclasses at the Hamilton Ice Sculptors’ studio in Wimbledon. We offer the chance for participants to sculpt their own ice sculptures under our tuition. Costs for Masterclasses are as follows:
- 90 minute sculpting Masterclass £75+VAT per person (minimum spend £375+VAT).
- Half day Masterclass £185+VAT per person (minimum spend £370+VAT).
- Visits to Schools and Colleges can be arranged from £350+VAT. We also run intensive five-day courses for students who wish to learn to sculpt ice to a professional level. Please don't hesitate to get in touch for more information. Follow us here:

We recently helped with his performative art called SELF-KNOWN TEMPERATURE
Which explores the paradox of protection, packing ice onto the abdomen in Piccadilly Circus and encasing the body in ice whilst leaving the abdomen exposed in Greenwich Park. Though the actions are publicly visible, the sensation of temperature remains private and incommunicable.
