Just pulled this one out of the drawer for a peek. Did you albumen prints have smell? It’s hard to describe. Somewhere between when glue and vinegar. Maybe some of you folks can explain why that is? Anyway, this view of is no. 1207 by Baker & Burke of Peshawar. The print available in my website is scanned from this original albumen print (circa 1870) from the studio of Baker & Burke who shot a series of photographs in In Northern India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. This scene is of a canal in Srinagar, Kashmir.
