International women's day 2023 is here! And what an amazing opportunity I have had to spend time alongside the group of amazingly talented woman. The theme of this year is Embrace Equity. Many may believe that it's good to have equity, however, it is important to note that it is a must-have. For a society to grow, we will have to have an increased focus on gender equity. But before you confuse the two terms, equity and equality, here it is. Equal opportunities are not enough, being inclusive is what's needed - gender equity isn't limited to fighting for their rights. They need allies to really advance across fields. With that being said: Here’s to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them!
