Brixton Chamber Orchestra is looking for eight original gospel songs to be developed, professionally arranged for orchestra, and performed live at at a spectacular orchestral gospel performance at Streatham Hill Theatre this October, hosted by Ruach City Church.

This is a national songwriting and performance opportunity for UK-based gospel artists, songwriters, worship leaders, producers, composers, choirs, vocal collectives and groups.

We’re looking for original songs rooted in gospel music — from traditional and choir-led worship to contemporary gospel, Pentecostal praise, Afro-gospel, soul, choral writing, classical influences and new forms of gospel expression.

The 8 selected songs will be:

-Developed with a gospel band and vocalists
-Arranged for Brixton Chamber Orchestra, soloists and/or choir
-Performed live as part of a major celebration of gospel music, orchestral force and community creativity

The parade begins at 1.45pm at RUSH COMMON, WOODLAND WALK and winds it way to HOLMEWOOD GARDENS, finishing with a public performance,with a couple of stops along the way. We'lll bring a carnival atmosphere to your streets, come walk with us, dance with us, or catch us along the way!
