6 women meet in a support group. It’s for Survivors (not the Destiny’s Child kind). They’re not really sure what kind, but they’re figuring it out. Together.

🎉Just taking a moment to celebrate how wonderful 2022 was for us at SpeakUp. We feel so grateful for the year we’ve had and the phenomenal creatives we’ve worked with.

Some highlights:
- OUR SKL PROJECT had its first appearance at & from that we have got to work with the incredible and (and get funding 🥳)

- We ran creative workshops at focused on mental health and body image. We worked with a wonderful group of women in a week long residency exploring pieces around body image.

- The wonderful supported us on a residency where we explored the women of Coventry and got to work with 2 more wonderful actors!

- Through we worked with another group of power house women over 10 weeks on Zoom & we visited women’s refuges across the country.

- RESIDUE started its’ development at and & we can’t wait for the world to see it at 2023 😍

Massive thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way. Stay tuned for what’s coming in 2023😎🤩🥳

Don’t think we’ll ever stop thinking about last week 💫Developing RESIDUE at NT studios was a ✨DREAM ✨

But more importantly we got to bring 4 incredible women who we worked with through SPEAKUP SURVIVORS into the space to hear the piece, offer their thoughts and have with us

RESIDUE has been created in conjunction with , a two year lived experience leadership project providing creative workshops for women who have experienced domestic and sexual abuse.
