A visitor favourite from Katy Binks currently on display in Patternicity.

With its bold red chequered pattern, soft irregular edges and fluorescent yellow strip, Equinox captures the energy and immediacy of Binks’s printmaking process. The work balances structure with looseness, allowing the hand-made qualities of the screenprint to remain visible.

On show at Well Hung until 20 June.

A striking pair of sculptural works by Mark McClure Studio , currently on display in Patternicity.

Built from stacked, painted wood and concrete elements, these pieces extend McClure’s visual language into three dimensions. Shapes are layered, balanced and interrupted, creating a playful tension between weight and colour, structure and movement.

We love the painterly nature and vibrancy of this screenprint by currently on display in Patternicity.

Created through an expressive screenprint process, with colour applied directly to the screen before printing, Divulge carries a real sense of immediacy. The bold zigzags, vertical bands and layered colour feel full of movement, while the irregular edges and visible brushwork reveal the physical process behind the print.

Two standout works by .dosa and personal favourites of the artist from his selection for Patternicity.

Both works are full of the things we love in Dosa’s practice: bold colour, sharp geometry, layered surfaces and those little traces of process that only really reveal themselves up close. Built with spray paint and acrylic on birch panel, each piece has its own rhythm, texture and energy.

Mark McClure
Painted wood in tray frame

A striking pair of works by , currently on display in Patternicity.

Built from painted wood and composed through McClure’s architectural visual language, these works balance sharp geometry with areas of exposed natural grain. Red, blue, yellow and black cut through the surface, creating a sense of movement, structure and tension.

On show at Well Hung until 20 June.

Unique screenprint on 300gsm Fabriano 5 paper, framed
70 × 100 cm

We absolutely love the softness and movement in this piece by Katy Binks, currently on display in Patternicity.

Built through layers of screenprinted colour, Converge brings together sharp geometric forms, repeated directional patterns and subtle shifts in tone. The result is a work that feels carefully structured, but never static.

On show at Well Hung until 20 June.

‘Was’
By .dosa
Spray paint and acrylic on framed birch panel
50 × 60 cm

One of our absolute favourites by Matt Dosa, currently on display in Patternicity.

Built through layers of spray paint and acrylic, Was brings together bold colour, Dosa’s signature arched forms and hard-edged geometry, while leaving visible traces of process. Up close, the surface reveals bleeds, transfers and layered textures, where instinct and process interrupt the hard-edged geometry.

A brilliant example of the energy, colour and depth running throughout Dosa’s work in the exhibition.

On show at Well Hung until 20 June.

Lens Red II
Painted wood mosaic in tray frame
80 × 80 cm

We absolutely love the detail in this piece by . Made from individually cut and painted pieces of wood, Lens Red II brings together McClure’s architectural visual language with meticulous attention to material, colour and form. Each segment is assembled by hand, creating a composition that feels both precise and dynamic.

On show in Patternicity until 20 June.
