Thames Day 2024: A family day on the River Thames, celebrating the river that runs through our city.
We caught up with the Lord Mayor of the City of London for the first ever Thames Day that was launched on World Rivers Day. The event featured barge rides on The Alice and The Blue Mermaid, litter picking with Thames 21 and loads of stalls for the family including face painting, food as well as live music.

Mark your calendars! Thames Day, a free day of family activities, is happening on 22 September on the riverside in the City of London. There will be lots of fun things to see and do, including:
