The incredible scores of composer Michael Nyman were always featured in ’s mesmerising show soundtracks and back in 2017 we persuaded him to actually play live for us, at the her show.

London Fashion Week has given me so much pleasure, producing and creating these amazing, unforgettable cultural moments.

Next week we will share more live and edited reportage from this season LFW SS27.

“What do you mean you haven’t got a film? I’ll shoot the film.”

That was my answer when MTV in 2005 said they didn’t have a movie partner at their legendary MTV at the Movies party during the Cannes Film Festival. We had already designed a Verner Panton inspired look in Pierre Cardin’s Palais Bulles, in the hills overlooking La Croisette; so this new challenge, of making the actual film projected onto the bubble architecture seemed like FUN!

We shot it ourselves on Super 8, creating a narrative all about the magic of the circle in the 1960s, with a cast including my mother plus an endless list of east London’s cognoscenti pretending to be aristocratic visionaries.

Everyone loved it! This was MTV at the Movies. Totally unforgettable.

Introducing the Roksanda Chapters.

We’re turning the archive into a series - one instalment at a time, tracing every Roksanda show Blonstein has produced since 2014.

Chapter One covers the first five the shows that set the tone for a partnership built on virgin venues and Roksanda’s signature colour blocking. Sara narrates it herself, as part of Book of Blonstein.

More chapters to come.

Pernod Ricard has a private island off the coast of Marseille called Les Embiez. And they handed us the keys.

Every year, their brand teams from across the globe gathered there. When we first went, everyone was doing the same thing: a drink, in a tent, in front of a hotel nobody loved.

So in April 2009, we took a derelict BBQ restaurant and turned it into a New York, warehouse style, apartment for four of their brands. Not a stage set, a whole building: one shared home with a separate world behind room space. Absolut had the bedroom. Havana Club had the living room. Jameson had the kitchen. Malibu had the terrace. Each brand its own character, its own crowd, all imaginary flatmates for 3 surreal, game changing nights.

Arctic trucks bringing the set, hung off the back of the small mainland ferry. A fake lift became the entrance into the apartment; sound and all, so they believed they’d climbed six floors into someone’s loft.

A thousand people came through, three nights running.

It was the first real experiential activation Pernod Ricard had commissioned on the island. Every brand in the group upped their game after.

We called it Apartment 54.

The Book of Blonstein is first expressed as a social, digital, metaphorical coffee table extravaganza.

The chapters and pages of our storied archive will feature in our content in the coming months: the clippings, the virgin venues that no one had the guts to touch; making the impossible possible all over the world.
