Last Sunday was the last of a series of parades and performances for Barking and Dagenham and what a parade! ,about 600 people turned up to carry community love themed lanterns made by local schools and Community groups and follow the magical Drummers of Spark through Barking Town centre, it was lit! It's been lantern silly season so playing catch up here, I have been lead artist on planning and delivering workshops in local schools and a public workshop in the Whitechapel gallery, the lantern parade is almost here and joining us with be 2 new gingerbread friends, Aisha Gingerbella and Crunchy Charlie made by two Aldgate primary schools

Few updates from last few months... First Leyton Mas came back for 2025, here's a few moments from the parade and the schools workshops such a warm welcome from the Leyton Community, clapping and waving on their doorsteps. I wish I had some pictures of coronation Gardens too, it was buzzing.

Amazing few days working with . For the West London Inclusive Arts Festival at The Royal Albert Hall. Exploring the world and ourselves through the sea, jungle and outer space using art and drama with me and Chloe. The young people went swimming as fishes, created their own planet and channelled their jungle animal.
