We are just under 8 weeks away from since putting the date out a few months ago, I’ve had such a dope response, everyone that signed up, everyone that got their early bird tickets… this really is just about me throwing a real party in it’s most organic and purest form, in a SICK venue with a PROPER soundsystem and me playing everything that I absolutely adore, bringing in some of my favourite MCs to compliment, lyrics are a bonus, these guys are all the epitome of the term Master of Ceremonies.
a staple MC in the birth of UK Garage as a scene and a genre, a compare, a host, a pied piper (no pun intended) without the likes of CKP, we have a generation of MCs who don’t exist in the same way.
one of the forefathers for MC culture as we know it today, Viper changed the way we look at MC’s, he is commonly known for his lyrical ability, but his flow patterns and his overall presence on stage is the real backbone to how powerful he is as an MC.
one of the most distinctive voices amongst UK MC’s, Kie almost MC’s just as he speaks… clarity, annunciation and tone, second to none. His voice is its own instrument.
is a style all on his own, OV is like having an MC who was present between 1998-2001, having them frozen and brought to life in today’s climate, his preservation of authenticity in his MCing makes him who he is.
I refer to Tippa as the blueprint, a true benchmark in the artform of MCing, he refers to what he does as narration and it’s the perfect description, whilst Tips is velvet silky over H&G, I’m looking forward to reverting back to my younger years, to the essence of Deep & Soulful House from the early to mid 2000s alongside this goat.
