SPID Theatre Company An innovative theatre company making community art to champion social change and regenerate neglected spaces, for and with young people 🕸️

SPID also has an active youth education programme, offering diverse range of workshops to people aged 8 - 25 for free. These workshops provide a chance for them to explore their creative side to the fullest. Helps them to learn about the local history and equips them with life-skills through the arts. Far Far Away is our current year-long programme of free workshops offering weekly sessions in skills such as writing, theatre, puppet making, music and acting, and will culminate in a special performance at the end of term for all participants to demonstrate their work in front of an audience. Workshops take place on Tuesday evenings for 8 - 13 year olds, from 4:45 - 6pm. Estate Endz is our Living Heritage project for 13 - 25 year olds which offer young people the chance to explore the local heritage and gain employability skills.
