I saw someone post the other day “I’ve started a blog, do you remember those” and I did let go of a little giggle, because we all know blogs never went away, right?
Just thought I should use this occasion to remind you all about ours, going steady since 2008, actually Knit with attitude started as a blog long before the yarn shop came to be.

We have a well of information waiting for you right there - yarn suggestions, fibre articles, pattern reviews, shop life behind the scenes, techniques and after care well explained, the list of topics just goes on and on. So grab a cuppa, use that search function, and go on an adventure!

And if you happen to be one of our regular followers who’s read the blog for a while - do let us know what you think and how you use it - to help in others reading pleasure.
Just up on the blog, What George Spins - please enjoy!

If you’ve been to one of our in-store knit nights, or you attended our virtual knit nights back in the day, chances are you’ve met Nicole. And if you have, you know what a well of knowledge this woman is. So we definitely sat up and paid attention when she just recently released the Modernist Scarf. A beautiful project in itself, but even more so because Nicole will take you by the hand and lead you through the techniques used in her incredibly thoughtful and well written pattern. Of course we made kits! https://knitwithattitude.com/products/yarn-kit-the-modernist-by-a-certain-style

And so it happened, that George could not resist for even half a day, before the Modernist found its way onto his needles - it took two days before he’s whipped out the whole thing! For more details, insights on the process, and how he enjoyed the knit, pop over to our blog where he tells you all about it.

Meet Justine Lee, the mastermind behind London Wool!
Thursday June 18th, Justine is visiting to talk us through her story from designer, to researcher of all British breeds of sheep and their origins, the monumental publication of her work in The Wonder of Wool, and how all this came together and resulted in the London City Farm Yarn project.

This event coincides with our monthly knit night, so after Justine's talk we'll transition into our regular evening with plenty of room to reflect and discuss further.

Our knit nights are usually drop in when you want to, but to keep track of seats, this one is ticketed.
So if you’d like to come, pop over to my online shop to get your name onto our list.
