A virus has infected the T.R.E.E.S., cutting Dr Noor’s weekend away short. Since he built the code, he’s the only one who can save it… right? Our fourth Short & Green reveal imagines a future where trees have gone extinct and metal ones have taken their place — a sharp look at what happens when nature gets falsified and profit comes before people.

Five plays. Five rooms. One ticket. A programme you won’t see again — and tonight’s your first shot at this one.

In a world where hamsters are vilified for falsely spreading a virus, one woman defies the authorities to save her furry friends. A sharp response to the abuse of power by corrupt governments — and a reminder that the natural world we’ve exploited so often ends up caught in the firing line.

🎃 Casting Call: SHORT & SPOOKY 🎃

We’re conjuring up five spooky micro-plays this Halloween, and we’d love for you to be part of the magic — Untold Collectiv is calling all performers and directors to join us!

This is an unpaid, artist-led passion project — a labour of love built by people who want to bring bold new writing to life. We’re artists ourselves, and we’re looking for talented, excited creatives who want to make something great and be part of a real community with us. The production will be professionally photographed and filmed, and we’ll promote the show and everyone involved across our channels.

We’d love to see:
✨ Performers who can join us for both nights and come ready to play (off-book, after 3 rehearsals together)
✨ Directors keen to bring one of our five plays to life
✨ A generous, collaborative spirit — we’re building this together

We’re especially looking for performers and directors from Latin American, Caribbean, SWANA, African, Asian, Indigenous, and other underrepresented communities — but this call is open to all. Your voices and stories are exactly what makes our stages come alive.

Directors — let us know your experience and what you normally like to direct when you apply!

We had such a great time bringing you Short & Mighty back in April, and we can’t wait to do it all again. This September, Untold Collectiv returns with our biggest immersive theatre night yet — step into five different worlds under one roof, from comedy to mystery to sci-fi and everything in between.
