We hope to be back on the south coast next summer but in the meantime we are staging the Mike Bartlett play 'An Intervention' at the Hen and Chickens Theatre in Islington this June (25th to 29th). The play stars Jessica Olim who has featured in 4 LRP productions including in 2022 Abigail's Party and I Have Been Here Before, and Jamie Woolf who recently starred in my London production of Jack Thorne's After Life .

Hello from London Repertory Players!

Sorry for the radio silence since last August but we have been searching for a new home, and didn't want to announce anything until it was finalised. However, sadly we have hit brick walls at all turns. We have explored venues in London, from Chiswick in the west to Stratford in the east, and Greenwich in the south, but no luck so far.

We have of course also explored Bournemouth and further afield in Dorset, and were very excited by a couple of opportunities including the Regent at Christchurch, but sadly they feel there is not the market there for 'straight plays'; perhaps you know different! We are sorry not to return to the Tivoli in Wimborne after 2 very happy summers, and are disappointed that over three years later, our original home The Shelley Theatre remains closed. So, a little dispirited and out of ideas- if anyone has any, let me know!

Finally, I'm delighted that Su Gilroy, who has worked in rep her whole career, and was co-producer of the Sidmouth Rep Season, has joined me at the helm of the company. She directed one play at Wimborne in 2022 and is now on board as co-producer!

Thanks as ever for all your support and we are very sorry not to see you in 2023. We hope to have news at some point about 2024.
