And That's a Wrap!

The 6th edition of Handmade Oxford has come to a close, and what an incredible weekend it has been.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this year's festival such a success — our wonderful exhibitors, partners, workshop tutors, demonstrators, volunteers, and the thousands of visitors who joined us at Waterperry Gardens over the weekend.

Special thanks to Simon and Jennie and the entire team at for their continued support and for providing such a beautiful setting for contemporary craft to flourish.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came along, discovered new makers, supported independent businesses, and celebrated the very best of contemporary craft with us.

We're already looking forward to doing it all again.

Congratulations to the Society of Designer Craftsmen Award Winners...

For the second year running the UK's oldest craft organisation, , has awarded prizes at Handmade Oxford. SDC fellows Joe Bray, and walked the entire 2026 show, selecting three exhibitors for the society to celebrate.

This year's winners are as follows:

The Society of Designer Craftsmen Award for the Best Emerging Designer-Maker was awarded to , a contemporary enamel artist - and member of the British Society of Enamellers - whose practice merges the raw energy of graffiti with refined craftsmanship.

EXCITING NEWS: Oxford Bus Company has partnered with Waterperry Gardens to provide a New Shuttle Bus. Operating on weekends and bank holidays between Thornhill Park & Ride, Wheatley and Waterperry Gardens.

From vibrant colours and intricate surfaces to remarkable technical skill, enamelling is one of craft’s most fascinating disciplines.

For the first time, we're delighted to welcome The British Society of Enamellers to Handmade Oxford, bringing eight of their talented members to the festival.

Dedicated to promoting excellence in British enamelling, the Society champions contemporary enamel artists and helps foster connections across the wider international enamelling community.

After the success of their inaugural awards at Handmade Chelsea in November, The House Directory has partnered once more with Handmade in Britain to bring their awards to Handmade Oxford!

The winners of the first House Directory awards will be announced on the opening day of Handmade Oxford : Friday 12 June 2026

The awards will represent three categories, celebrating the beauty and diversity of craft that appears annually at Handmade Oxford:
