Projects like this don’t happen without an incredible team behind the scenes.

From load-in to final touches, installing in a heritage space like Blenheim Palace takes serious care and attention to detail. Every cable route, every projector position, every piece of scenery has to disappear into the architecture.

Camouflage is key! The technology should feel invisible so the story can take centre stage.

Drawing Up the Blueprints 🏛️

We’ve been working with on their Blueprints of Power exhibition with an immersive projection mapping experience that recreates the palace being built, at life-size scale.

For a building with this much history, accuracy was vital. Scaffold, brick and construction detail had to be carefully researched to reflect how Vanbrugh’s masterpiece came to life in the 18th century.

In this reel, our video designer Lou chats with Blenheim’s Keeper of Collections, Carmen and we also hear from production manager Tony about the process behind the project, the historical research and the challenge of translating it all into a fully immersive visual experience.

A dream collaboration in a truly extraordinary space. The exhibition is open until May 31st, let us know what you think!
