The exquisite installation ‘Namu’ by the 65 SQM team, debuting at meanwhile… at their summer closing event at Gaffe 20/9/26! 🥰 thank you meanwhile… for another epic collab!

“Namu is an interactive installation of inflatable elements for sitting and gathering. The name carries a dual meaning: in Korean, namu means tree; in Arabic, nawmu means sleep or everyone sleep. Like fallen trees, the inflatable forms act as raw building material that are pliable, temporary, and to create. Through the course of an evening, they will shift and reconfigure, responding to the bodies that lean, sit, and rest against them. Once the installation ends, Namu will be reconfigured into future works, taking on new forms in service of play, connection and rest.” Artists words
