We are delighted to announce that the Fine Art Group is partnering with Bonhams to present ✨ Diane Keaton: The Architecture of an Icon, a thoughtfully curated, multi-disciplinary collection spanning art, fashion, design, books, and personal objects from one of the most distinctive cultural voices of the past half-century. ✨

Offered across four sales in New York and Los Angeles this June, the collection reflects Keaton’s disciplined editorial eye and lifelong engagement with architecture, visual culture, and personal style. What makes this project especially meaningful is the clarity of Diane’s vision - a carefully constructed world where every object feels intentional, considered, and deeply personal.

The centerpiece live sale takes place June 8 in New York, supported by three additional online sales exploring her iconic wardrobe, interiors, and creative references.

TFG Recommends: Museum Shows 🖼️

Our London team visited David Hockney: A Year in Normandie and Some Other Thoughts About Painting at the Serpentine.

The show feels like stepping into time itself — the centrepiece is this incredible 90-metre-long frieze made on an iPad, tracing the changing seasons in Hockney’s Normandy garden with these bold, luminous colours. It’s immersive but also really intimate, paired with new portraits and still lifes of people close to him that feel simple, warm, and deeply personal.

The whole show is a reminder to slow down and actually look — at nature, at everyday moments, at light shifting — and appreciate how much beauty is right there if you pay attention.

Last week in Los Angeles offered our team a concise view of where the market stands and where it may be heading.

We began with a visit to Nancy Rubin’s studio and the Chris Burden estate as guests of the Blue Rider Group and . The morning set the tone: focused conversations, strong voices and a reminder of how the West Coast has shaped the art world.

In the days that followed, we previewed 's upcoming sale of the Lily Tomlin and Jane Wagner collection, in partnership with TFG, before it travels to New York this spring.

By the time Los Angeles opened, the atmosphere throughout the city felt steady and connected. In the year following the Palisades fires, the art community has continued to show its strength, and that sense of cohesion carried into fair week. Frieze served as the backdrop for that momentum, with focused conversations and a clear willingness to engage. Collectors pursued unique works, institutions moved with intent, and dealers felt the shift.

Taken together, the studio visits, the preview, and the fair told a consistent story: the market is cautious but engaged, and Los Angeles has stepped into its own role within the Frieze landscape.

Last week, The Fine Art Group team traveled to Doha for the inaugural edition of Qatar, which marked an important moment for the region. As our Director of Art Advisory, Charlie Wood (), noted, “The fair set a clear benchmark in its first year, with a format that encouraged discovery and in-depth appreciation.”

Its solo‑booth structure, paired with a measured selection of artists from the Middle East and beyond, created space for focused viewing. The ex*****on, accessibility and overall clarity reflected the high standard long associated with the Basel name.

Highlights included Simone Fattal’s Apollon presented by and Imran Qureshi’s Charpai‑based installation in 's booth, which brought traditional weaving into a contemporary framework with precision and restraint.

During their time in Qatar, our team also visited Richard Serra’s East‑West/West‑East in the Brouq nature reserve. The site remains one of the region’s most compelling public works and an example of Serra’s lasting influence on site‑specific art.
