Bleeding forever, my life painted red
constantly dripping, did you hear what I said?
Twelve years of blood, and hopes being drained,
from physicians to specialists, it drove me insane.
Then I heard about a man, with the power to heal,
so hard to reach. If only I could feel.
The hem of his garments, then I’ll be healed,
so I reached through the crowd, hoping he’d seal,
the pain, the flow; the shame, the sorrow.
“All I need is His touch, is all I know.”
One touch of his robe, right then I was healed,
he stopped to find out, my touch he could feel,
“Who touched me?” He said.
I was shaken, bowed low.
“It was me I said.” He wanted to know.
He looked right at me, with fire in his eyes,
“Your faith has made you well,
no longer will you cry.
Go in peace, be well,
be healed of this disease
Go in peace, be well,
your bleeding has ceased.”
