Historic Britain

Historic Britain 🇬🇧🇬🇧 We aim to change part of our display on a regular basis, and to do this in collaboration with other organisations for mutual benefit.

Ein Hanes – Our History is a community project initiated by the Fishguard and Goodwick Community Forum and run by volunteers to share memories and celebrate our rich natural and cultural heritage for the benefit of current and future generations. We also aim to make a positive contribution to the tourist economy by contributing to the regeneration of the town centre. The Centre has been open five

days a week since the 27th July, thanks to a dedicated team of volunteers, to Ed Heritage for making his premises available and also to Pembrokeshire County Council for ‘pop-up’ funding. There is no charge for entry, but donations are requested to help sustain the project so that we can keep open, gain experience and possibly expand into larger premises in the future. We have been encouraged by many offers of things for our display, which will certainly evolve as time goes on – do call and let us know what you think! This Community Forum initiative is supported by Pembrokeshire County Council's regeneration programme.
