Solo Show Opening | Sinta Ta**ra 🌴

Kristin Hjellegjerde Gallery, West Palm Beach is delighted to present two salon shows by Sinta Ta**ra, coinciding with the announcement of her major new public artwork as part of the 8111 S. Dixie Development Project. Across two distinct yet interconnecting installations, Ta**ra considers how different visual languages can offer pathways towards clarity, balance and embodied experience. Across the exhibitions Ta**ra seeks to create moments of pause and a sense of renewal – not as escapism, but as a conscious act of opening space and quieting the noise to allow for both deeper reflection and a clearer sense of direction.

⏰ 30 May - 12 September, 2026
📍 Kristin Hjellegjerde Gallery, West Palm Beach, Florida, USA

We hope to see you there! Check out the link below for details ⤵

Exhibition Open Now! | Lynn Chadwick at Houghton Hall

Open until 4 October 2026, Houghton Hall will present a major exhibition of sculpture by the celebrated post-war British artist Lynn Chadwick CBE (1914–2003). Spanning four decades of the artist’s career, from the 1950s to the 1990s, this new presentation will showcase previously unseen and rarely exhibited works alongside his best-known sculptures across the house and grounds of Houghton Hall. It will form the largest exhibition of Chadwick’s work in the UK in more than two decades, following the artist’s death and the retrospective at Tate Britain’s Duveen Galleries in 2003.

Curated by Pangolin London, the exhibition will present 30 works across multiple exterior and interior sites at Houghton Hall, including early works, a powerful group of dynamic beasts, kinetic sculptures, and a selection of Chadwick’s best-known paired figures (‘couples’), all set in dialogue with the Neo-Palladian architecture and extensive parklands of Houghton Hall.

⏰ 2 May - 4 October, 2026
📍 Houghton Hall, King’s Lynn, Norfolk, PE31 6TY

New Exhibition | Paula Rego, ‘Dance Among Thorns’ 🥀

The Portuguese British artist Paula Rego (1935–2022) receives her first ever large-scale exhibition in the Nordic region.

Rego grew up in Portugal under the Salazar dictatorship, an era in which women’s freedom and rights were severely limited. At the age of 17, Rego travelled to London to study art. Throughout her career, she was influenced by the history, culture and literary traditions of both her native Portugal and Great Britain. Her work is rooted in her own experience, as well as stories, myths and fairy tales which uncover the darker sides of humanity.

Across nine sections and more than 140 works, the exhibition at MUNCH showcases the breadth of Rego’s art, from her early political collages to textile sculptures and magnificent figurative tableaux. The title ‘dance among thorns’ refers to Rego’s interest in fairy tales, the many thorns of fascism, and to dance as a motif.

📍MUNCH, Bjørvika, Oslo | Open until 2 August, 2026

We hope to see you there! For more information about the exhibition, check out the link below⤵

Inferno | Video Installation by Mat Collishaw 🔥

is one of the most influential and consistently provocative figures in contemporary British art. A pioneer in blending traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology, his work often explores how technological progress intersects with the natural and moral world.

Drawing from historical depictions of Dante’s ‘Divine Comedy’ and imagery of man-made climate change, artist Mat Collishaw’s film reinterprets the 14th-century warning through the lens of environmental destruction, depicting the circles of Hell in visions of open-pit rare earth mining, deforestation, melting ice and the displacement of people.

Taking place in the Queen Elizabeth Hall Foyer and auditorium, the performance uses projections, sound systems and orchestral music to draw us into a multi-dimensional underworld, asking: ‘Is it too late to change the course of our own Divine Comedy?’

Queen Elizabeth Hall, South Bank, London. 29 April 2026, 7:30pm.

Bridgeman Images is thrilled to welcome Joby Hickey’s exceptional body of work to the Bridgeman Images archive for copyright and licensing purposes! 🌆

is an accomplished visual artist from Dublin, Ireland. The combination of imagery, apparently casual in its observation, the use of surface to obtain a paint-like surface, contre-jour treatment of objects in an Impressionistic manner and the technique, the very ancient technique of pinhole images, provide the basis of Joby Hickey’s art as a photographer.
