A series of music nights presenting the best musicians, singers and poets London has to offer. The first Laid Bare At The Ritzy was held in July 2013 as a monthly event, which has since lead to additional residencies at Brixton East, Fu Manchu Bar (Clapham), The Hackney Attic, Century Club (Soho) & Camden Canal Cafe. Each show is based around carefully selected featured acts and dedicated to local performers showcasing their talent in a warm and friendly environment. In 2016, we introduced two new types of shows; a brand new Music & Comedy night alongside The Comedy Tree on Saturdays in Hammersmith, and our newest offering: ‘Wot Do You Call It?’ - a monthly hip hop karaoke night at Trapeze Bar, Shoreditch, which will debut on Thursday 04 August. Otherwise, we are at Fu Manchu Bar every Wednesday with FIVE wonderful acts and lots of Dim Sum (please get in touch for Free Guestlist & Table Bookings), and we are Upstairs At The Ritzy in Brixton on the last WEDNESDAY of the month. In January 2016, we launched our own label to offer unsigned artists a further chance to have their music heard. And since then we have already seen the release of 'Moon Songs', the debut EP from Chris Belson, and 'Born Lucky' the debut album from William Poyer.
