Several years ago, I had the pleasure of performing acoustically at one of the largest and most prestigious nightclubs in Italy, Alpheus. Alpheus was a vast and versatile entertainment space located in Rome's Ostiense district, celebrated for its diverse range of live music, DJ performances, parties, and cultural events across its various independent halls. Unfortunately, it eventually closed and was rebranded as Planet Roma, which has also since shut down due to the pandemic....

"The beginning of everything" is the fourteenth track taken from the album "Back in Time", by Gianluca John Attanasio, released in mid-October 2025, and available for purchase on Bandcamp. The thread that connects this piano piece is the decay of things and human actions, serving as a metaphor for the need to let go of what is old and no longer useful, in order to rebuild a new inner world. The death of the past marks the start of a new present.

"Imagine walking along snowy mountain paths or the secluded streets of small medieval villages, where the silence around you is filled with profound existential meaning. Back in Time is not just a simple collection of piano instrumental pieces. It is an imaginary journey that retraces, through the use of touching melodies and primordial sounds, the life of each one of us. Back in Time interprets life as a perfect postcard, which returns to the listener the magical hues of intimate and unrepeatable experiences that only music can generate. Listening to the tracks through headphones ensures a complete immersive sound experience for the listener. Back in Time can be considered a therapeutic album, thanks to the use of "soothing" sounds and melodies that caress the soul".
