As a child of minister parents, she was actively involved in church ministry as a child. Her interest and love for music was discovered at an early age while singing alongside her siblings in the church choir and praise team. By the time she reached 18 years old, Sharon’s music career began to develop professionally. Having spent many years singing at church Sunday after Sunday developed into week
ly session work in some of the top studios in the metro London area, including Abbey Road Studios, Sony Studios, & White City, just to name a few. Over the years, she has sung as a touring, session, and background vocalist and vocal contractor for a number of artists such as:
Spice Girls, Take That, George Michael, Chaka Khan, Michael Bolton, Donnie McClurkin, The Winans, The Clark Sisters, Jennifer Holiday, Cheryl Porter, Michelle Gayle, and many more. She has also toured Europe numerous times, singing on various album projects in Italy, Germany, Switzerland, & France, Paris,Unites States, In addition to all of this, Sharon has also worked professionally as a make-up artist. She has served as Account Manager & Makeup Artist in some of the UK’s largest and top department stores such as Harrod’s, Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, Debenhams, & House of Fraser. She served as a top makeup artist for MAC and Iman and has done makeup for various fashison week shows in New York & artists around the world. It was the blend of these various experiences in music, entertainment, and retail that became the inspiration for Sharon to start her own business. Beswick1 Media launched in 2008, its a full-service company that offers artist direction and development, as well as events planning and business services. Sharon’s experience in working with artists both established as well as new artists in the area of media is designed to alleviate the stress of PR and business management so that they can continue to thrive creatively, as well as helping them to reach higher levels of accomplishment in the music industry. Sharon’s list of clients include: Prince, NPG Band, Stevie Wonder band, J.A.L.C.
