Requesting time off due health problems, I am writing to formally request quite time of absence from my duties at due to health reasons. Since December 2023, I have been experiencing health issues that have progressively worsened. After consulting with my healthcare provider, it has been recommended that I take some time off to focus on my recovery and well-being.I anticipate needing approximately [number of months] months off to fully address and recover from my health concerns. During this time, I kindly request that my son and my team be spared any disturbances, and I trust that my team will be able to cover any pending work with the necessary assistance from colleagues to minimize disruption.I understand the impact my absence may have on the team and the workload, and I am committed to returning to work as soon as I am medically cleared to do so. In the meantime, I trust that this information will be treated with respect, confidentiality and discretion.

The Great Recession (also referred to as the Lesser Depression, the Long Recession, or the global recession of 2009) is an ongoing marked global economic decline that began in December 2007 and took a particularly sharp downward turn in September 2008. The initial phase of the economic crisis started with a financial liquidity crisis, dated to have started on 9 August 2007, at the interbank lending market when central banks had to step in with liquidity lending to the banking market. This was a response to a situation where BNP Paribas temporarily had to block money withdrawals from three hedge funds - citing a "complete evaporation of liquidity". The bursting of the U.S. housing bubble, which peaked in 2006, caused the values of securities tied to U.S. real estate pricing to plummet, damaging financial institutions globally and creating an interbank credit crisis.
