The Bayeux Tapestry has returned to England after nearly 1000 years and from today it can be seen at the British Museum.
Did you know that the Bayeux Tapestry, which dates back to the 1070s, contains the very first recorded image of a Punch and Judy performance?
In this remarkable scene, the puppets are shown entertaining Harold Godwinson, the final Anglo-Saxon monarch to rule England before the arrival of William the Conqueror and the Norman Conquest.
This year, the British Museum is offering a truly unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see this legendary artifact in person.
