Victor Muller is an artist with a remarkable and distinctive body of work. Through his paintings he creates the world he longs to inhabit: a place of silence and contemplation where the eternal nature of a single moment offers refuge from the intensity of everyday life. Central to his work is the idea of timelessness.

'Quiet Horizons' is a collection of landscape and still life paintings by Michael French that reflect moments of stillness and quiet observation. Through soft light, layered textures and carefully composed scenes, these paintings create a contemplative dialogue between interior and exterior worlds capturing fleeting moments of calm reflection.

Here are some of still lifes featured, 'Sunflower Study', 'Mell's World', 'The Traditions' and 'Sophia and Erika. This exhibition is running until 13th July 2026.

Japanese artist Kazuya Ushioda paints exquisite portraits that merge traditional techniques with innovative materials.

Interested in painting from a young age, Ushioda earned a PhD in Fine Art from Bunsei University in 2015 where during his doctoral research he focused on developing new tempera formulations. This resulted in the creation of Impasto OG Tempera, his now signature medium.

Combining animal glue, pigments and a small amount of oil, this unique water-based formula allows the artist more flexibility even if the paint is applied thickly, as it provides outstanding adhesion and has quick drying properties. He initially applies his tempera medium for the underpainting, and he then transitions to oil paints for the finishing layers.

Originally from New York, Carl Laubin moved to London in 1973, becoming a British citizen in 2000. As he had studied architecture, Laubin worked for numerous architectural firms in the United Kingdom, but it was while working for Jeremy Dixon that he was encouraged to make his first specifically architectural paintings. He illustrated the firm’s redevelopment of the Royal Opera House between 1986 and 1867 and was then able to devote himself to painting full-time.

We are delighted to welcome Joseph McNamara to the gallery!

Joseph McNamara is known for portraying scenes of industrial America. His sharp depictions take many months if not years to complete and reflect the artist’s observations of humanity’s desire and need to create.

At first, these landscapes may appear random and derelict, but in reality they reflect where it all begins: the imprint of human will and interaction. McNamara brings the viewer back to an almost Industrial Revolution state, imbuing his paintings with a sense of triumph and the fundamental urge to create.

'Strip Mall Cowboy' oil on panel, 62 x 47 cm and a few more works are now available in the gallery. To book an appointment to view them or for further information, email [email protected]
