Alexandra Klimas produces portraits of farm animals, mainly cows. According to Klimas, the cows are disappearing from the landscape mainly through the rise of mega farms in the Netherlands, where they are not allowed outside to graze. From an early age, Klimas was concerned with the fate of these good-natured beasts as she thinks they represent what happiness is supposed to look like, almost manifesting themselves as human characters with their emotions reduced to a primary level.

Pedro Campos is a Spanish Hyperrealist artist known for making ordinary objects look extraordinary. His paintings are so incredibly realistic that they can almost be mistaken for photographs! He often paints everyday things like fruit, eggs, sweets, glass jars and drinks, paying amazing attention to reflections and tiny details. Campos shows us that even simple objects can be beautiful when we take the time to really look at them.

'Eggs X' is one of the artist's latest paintings. For any enquiries email [email protected]

"Light in my work is meant to seem transitory like a story that takes a few moments to tell then fades into memory. Watching these tales of light flicker and come together to build something so beautiful and subtle is the reason I paint and seeing the life grow from it continues to feed my desire to understand and relate it.” - Tom Betts

Johan Abeling is fascinated by the emptiness and silence of northern landscapes and tries to create an enigmatic mood. All the elements the artist uses are derived from reality but he creates a private world that only exists in his imagination.

Michael French’s subjects include seascapes, urban and natural landscapes and still lifes. He paints them both from memory and photographs he has taken, allowing him to freeze in time fleeting moments such as shifting light or the gradual decay of a flower. It also enables him to eliminate unnecessary visual distractions creating compositions that convey harmony, balance and a sense of calm.
