Born and raised in China, Chin left her homeland for the UK at the tender age of 18. At the still-tender age of 28, she had enough of both countries and decided she should lead a new country.

A Wang-derful nation has therefore been born.
Fresh from Edinburgh Fringe, Wang’s Republic is all about the oddities of British culture, the illogical language of English, and also a few hazard warnings for any first generation immigrants from East Asia to the UK.

We created a Facebook Manchester site in 2008.

Last week it was maliciously taken over by a Thai fire equipment company: Thiết bị PCCC Thiện Phúc - stealing our account and our 1000’s of followers. ( See below.)

No problem says us. We will just tell Facebook what’s gone on and they will move these unwanted folks from our account.

Oh.

Facebook then removed us from our page - not them - and they’ve closed our case.

They win.

It’s absolutely ludicrous.
