So finally, after about 4 years of work, the M K Čiurlionis exhibition opened at Dulwich Picture Gallery. My second revelatory artist for Dulwich, the last being my Harald Sohlberg show. I love working with DPG but equally with the wonderful people at the Čiurlionis Museum in Kaunas Lithuania. They welcomed me with open arms and put their trust in me. As a result we now have the work of this mystic seer in our country for the first time. It’s a wonderful story, filled with beauty, symbolism and mythology, not to mention art history. I hope you like it. It’s on till March 2023. Please do try and visit.
