The Ballets du Monte-Carlo Les Ballets de Monte Carlo celebrated its 40th anniversary last night at the Grimaldi Forum. A huge congratulations to the one and only Artistic Director, Jean Christophe Maillot, and the entire company on this wonderful milestone!

We were especially delighted to see our much-admired Nicoletta Manni and Timofej Andrijashenko perform Jean-Christophe Maillot’s Casse-Noisette on this special evening. It brought back wonderful memories of their performance of this exquisite pas de deux during Ballet Icons’ 20th Anniversary Celebration. It was a true privilege to include this beautiful work in our celebratory programme.

We also cherish fond memories of the wonderful Bernice Coppieters, who graced the Ballet Icons Gala with her unforgettable performances over the years.

The company’s patron, HRH Princess Caroline of Monaco, looked to be thoroughly enjoying the birthday celebrations, and, of course, a taste of the magnificent anniversary cake! 💫💫💫💫💫

As Ballet Icons’ mission is to support exceptionally talented young dancers and provide professional curation for a select group of ballet students, we are delighted to launch our auction with excitement and gratitude. The auction will feature ballet memorabilia generously donated to Ballet Icons by our much-admired ballet stars and signed by them.
