"Frankly a wonderful company"- The Scotsman
"Ensemble theatre at it's best"- The Stage
Based in North London, Fourth Monkey offers innovative and forward-thinking actor training for the contemporary world of performance. With an emphasis on ensemble and repertory performance whilst learning and working with practising professionals, our actors in training receive the most comprehensive preparation available for the industry in the most supportive of environments. Our actor training is widely regarded as the primary alternative to conservatoire training in the UK today, developing and delivering actors into the industry in the most vibrant and contemporary of ways. Alongside their training in London our actors, benefit from travelling and performing overseas and throughout the UK, learning via the power of ‘doing’ through repertory performance. Upon completion of their training our actors go on to work in TV, film, and on the stage as well as for us, by means of our professional touring company, Fourth Monkey Ensemble and indeed for themselves; a number of our graduates going on to form their own successful companies.
