🎭️ And finally, in our cast announcement for climate-themed play The Trials, taking place tomorrow and Sunday: we have Ray, Olive and Milan.
👉 Ray, if you could say one thing to people in leadership about the climate crisis, what would you say to them?
"Do better. Short and sweet!"
Ray just participated in National Theatre Connections with us at Longfield Hall, in Florence Espeut-Nickless' play, Ride or Die.
👉 Olive, what conversations do you hope people have leaving after seeing this?
"Maybe they can start thinking about what they can do to make the future better for young people like us, instead of making their future as good as it can be for the short period of time they have left. My eco tips are buying second-hand clothes from charity shops."
Olive has performed in three school plays.
👉 Milan, what made you say yes to joining us at Longfield Hall for this project?
"Before this amazing experience, I'd done some classes here, but I wanted to commit to something with an even bigger challenge. One of my teachers gave me that further push to go for it! I’m quite engaged in following the climate crisis because I’m politically aware. It's hard, with the wildfires in France and Spain causing a lot of people to be displaced - it's a bit scary right now."
Milan has just finished GCSE Drama.
