What a journey MIFF 2026 has been! ❤️🎬

As we look back, we’re reminded that MIFF is about so much more than four days of cinema. It’s a growing global community, a shared vision and a belief in the power of storytelling to bring people together, challenge perceptions and celebrate stories that deserve to be seen and heard.

To our audiences, filmmakers, volunteers, speakers, industry guests, patrons, partners, sponsors and media — **thank you**. You brought MIFF to life and made this year’s festival truly special.

We’re incredibly grateful to our funders, patrons and partners, including the BFI, Channel 4, BBC Writers, Aziz Foundation, Warner Music Group, Film & TV Charity, Cur8 Capital, My SMASH Media and many others who believed in our vision and helped make MIFF 2026 possible.

📢 Meet the speakers who will be offering practical insights to building a sustainable career and navigating financing and development opportunities in "Funding Your Film. Sustaining Your Future" session on Saturday, 4 July:

🔸Radha Bhandari, Development Executive & Assistant Commissioner, BBC Film
Radha joined the BBC Film in October 2025, focusing on the shorts film slate as well as helping shape their annual slate of approximately 12-14 features, working with emerging and established filmmakers. Radha was the Associate Producer on Naqqash Khalid's IN CAMERA that screened at the inaugural MIFF (2024).

🔸Charlotte Knowles, Founder & Executive Producer, Tough Crowd
Charlotte is a BIFA-nominated Breakthrough Producer and executive, her credits include the BAFTA Scotland and BIFA-nominated Rebel D***s (Channel 4), The Medallion (The New Yorker), and Palestine Comedy Club, which premiered at SXSW London and Doc NYC, screened at IDFA, and received four BIFA nominations.
