Are you a game maker or interdisciplinary creative interested in expanding your game development skills through play and critical exchange?

LADA is collaborating with London Games Festival 2026 to host a Game Jam and Interactive Talk with artists Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley & Symoné.

The Rules of Watching responds to the central theme of spectatorship and agency. The emphasis is on experimentation, collective problem solving and peer exchange, with space to test and reflect on how different modes of play shape relationships between subject, player and viewer.

We will investigate cultures of consumerism – from hype drops and independent boutiques, to resale markets and ‘cute’ collectable unboxing TikToks – as sites of live performance.
