Bernie Grant Arts Centre is seeking a Head of Marketing & Audience Development!

The Head of Marketing & Audience Development will be responsible for leading the organisation’s marketing and external relations activity to help establish the Bernie Grant Arts Centre as the leading black cultural arts centre in the UK. 

This role will be responsible for the development of a dynamic, integrated marketing and communications strategy to promote regular engagement and organisational affinity amongst local audiences, and raise awareness and consideration amongst diverse audiences London-wide. Over the next three years this role will work with the wider team to build new agency and brand partnership relations; increase the profile of BGAC through external relations and lead a brand refresh for BGAC.

An exciting opportunity to join the programming team at the Bernie Grant Arts Centre! We are seeking a Senior Producer and a Producer to work with us in our mission to support Black artists in telling their own stories.

Born out of a commitment to centring blackness, BGAC provides a space for the creatively engaged from the Global Black Diaspora to make and showcase their work in the heart of Tottenham. A combined arts centre for creativity and learning, we aim to provide a platform for expression, exploration, and celebration.

Exciting opportunity at the Bernie Grant Arts Centre! We are seeking new Trustees to join our Board to work with our CEO/AD and her team to guide the Centre as we strive to achieve our exciting ambitions.

Building on our existing strong and diverse board, led by our new Chair, Geoffrey O. Williams, we are seeking up to five new Trustees with skills in a range of areas. We welcome applications from people with experience in:​ finance & accounting; business, commercial & fundraising​; experience of the arts as a practitioner;​ and media & communications.

LOVE TO SING? NEVER SUNG IN A CHOIR BEFORE?
London Youth Choirs (LYC) are holding FREE & FUN auditions for its friendly choir for children in years 3-6!
4.30PM, THURSDAY 11TH JANUARY 2024

Local to your school, London Youth Choirs (LYC) runs a friendly and inclusive choir called LYC North East which meets every Thursday at 4.30pm-5.30pm during term time at Bernie Grant Arts Centre in Tottenham.

NO experience of singing in choirs is required to join and LYC offer a wide range of financial support to ensure that there are no barriers to taking part. All LYC members enjoy excellent musical training, new friendships, dedicated pastoral care, social activities and AMAZING concerts. The current LYC NE members sang in the Christmas Classics concert at Royal Festival Hall Southbank Centre alongside the Philharmonia Orchestra and Chorus in December!

We are inviting children in years 3-6 to come to LYC’s FUN, FRIENDLY and FREE auditions on Thursday 11th January at the Bernie Grant Arts Centre, Town Hall Approach Road, Tottenham Green, London N15 4RX.

As part of the Tottenham Literature Festival, the Bernie Grants Arts Centre, in partnership with The Reading Agency, gave away free copies of award-winning trans non-binary emergency doctor, CBBC’s Operation Ouch! presenter, and activist, Dr Ronx’s fabulous book, Amazing Bodies.
