He studied at ' Northern school of Contemporary Dance' finding a love for floorwork and release based techniques within contemporary movement, focusing on blending the use of economic movement patterns with dynamic acrobatics. This love of exploration of economics in movement, falls nicely into the use of partner work and Contact improvisation, which Josh also shares a passion. Exploring the sweet spot in combining the solo and joint movement practises within choreography and improvisation. Josh, now in his early 30s, has encountered personal challenges throughout his artistic journey. These challenges have deeply influenced his creative path, shaping his understanding of movement as both a practice and a powerful outlet for processing personal experiences. Expect technique & fluidity From Josh's specialized training at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, focuses on refining technique and achieving fluid movement through a wide use of levels and floorwork. Expect creative expression by exploring how movement and choreography can be vehicles for personal expression and growth.
