LOST Theatre

LOST Theatre LOST is dedicated to promoting and developing young and emerging talent. Whatever your discipline get in touch to see how we can help.

The LOST Theatre Company was founded in Fulham in 1979, initially performing in local school halls, where it produced many successful productions. Most notable in our early work was Ralph Fiennes’ first appearance with us in Romeo and Juliet. The company grew in popularity and was forced to find a permanent home in order to accommodate its burgeoning theatrical ambitions. In 1982 it moved to 450 Fulham Road which it converted into a marvellous theatre space seating around 100 people and showcasing over 200 productions in 17 years. In December 1999 the Company left the building, due to the redevelopment of the area, to become a London based production company. This freedom allowed us to expand both on the British and International fringe. Annual visits to the Edinburgh festival, two tours of Southern Spain as well as being the only English representative at the St Petersburg Rainbow Theatre Festival were some of the highlights of the next 7 years. In the Spring of 2010 we proudly opened the doors to our new purpose built 181 seat venue. LOST’s aim is still the same as the day it was founded – to be a stepping stone for young talent. Every year we produce new writing Festivals, productions of new plays, rehearsed readings, co-productions with emerging young companies as well as playing host to many local youth groups.
