Filament Theatre

Filament Theatre Filament Theatre produces inclusive work featuring original vocal music for audiences and participants.

The company is led by composer and choir leader, Osnat Schmool and director, Sabina Netherclift. Combining rich vocal harmonies and a physical approach to performance, we create original, dynamic music theatre. We bring inclusive performances and participation work to a wide audience by working in partnership with other organisations and performing in both theatres and non-traditional public spaces from St Pancras Station to Lewisham Shopping Centre. We work with artists at all stages of their careers and from many different backgrounds. Since our formation in 2009 we have created 6 original pieces, (One or the Other, One Small Step and One Dark Night are now being developed together as Under One Roof) reached over 12,500 people, and worked on participatory projects with over 3000 people.

Ever wondered what it would be like to be a Filament Theatre rehearsal room? (Spoiler alert: it’s a lot of fun)
Join Filament’s co-artistic directors, and for a joyous afternoon of singing, movement and making, Filament style. They will take you through exercises and methods that they use when creating a Filament Choral-Theatre show, fusing devised theatre practice and harmony singing in Filament’s signature style. No prior experience needed, just a willingness to play, create and work on original Filament compositions.

We’re hosting a taster workshop for choir on Monday 14th January which will be completely FREE - yes free, so come along and try, bring a friend and impress them with your fabulous abilities to harmonise and move about with purpose and style!! After this session term and 

Term will commence the following week - 12 sessions at the bargain price of £120 + a winter gig at the end 🎉🤘🏽🕊️🥳 the “drop-in” price is now £12.50 per session and we offer concessions on request.
