🩰✨ Ballet Under the Stars 2026 ✨🩰

This July, we invite you to join us at Hatch House to celebrate 20 years of the Covent Garden Dance Company in the place where it all began, and to be part of this very special chapter in our story.

Set within the enchanting 17th-century walled Dutch garden, the gardens open at 5:30pm for an evening unlike any other. A three-course gourmet dinner is interwoven with three acts of performance, each comprising four short works ​- a heady mix of classical, neo-classical and contemporary styles, performed by some of the greatest dancers from the most famous companies in the world. An unforgettable night, every night.

This year’s star-studded cast includes Paris Opera Ballet Etoile Myriam Ould-Braham and Mickaël Lafon, Xander Parish and Joy Womack of the Mariinsky Ballet, and leading artists from The Royal Ballet, English National Ballet​, and many others.

We are delighted to confirm that Royal Ballet Principal, Joseph Sissens and Soloist, Viola Pantuso will take their places on the Harlequin stage at Hatch House across all three evenings this July.

Viola performed at Hatch House in 2024, dancing a Sonata by Uwe Scholz and a world première of Calvin Richardson’s new work The Lighthouse with Marco Masciari.

With tickets already selling at a record pace, we have no doubt that the announcement of this partnership, will accelerate demand still further.

We are extremely privileged to confirm that Paris Opéra Ballet royalty: Étoile, Myriam Ould-Braham and her husband, and Sujét, Mickaël Lafon will be returning to the Covent Garden Dance Company stage, having stunned our audiences at Hatch House in 2023 and in The Bahamas in March 2026.

We caught up with Myriam to ask her why she was excited to take part in our 20th Anniversary Gala, this is what she said…

“What strikes me above all is the atmosphere; there is a real friendliness within the organisation, and we meet dancers I have had the chance to encounter at other galas. But this gala has something special, a truly unique atmosphere. That is exactly what Matt has managed to create: something rare, and for me, it is precious.” Myriam Ould-Braham

A very special thank you to The English Home for featuring Ballet Under the Stars 2026 in this month’s issue 🩰✨

This year is extra special as it’s our 20th Anniversary, and we are celebrating it in style.

Join us for what promises to be the ‘Glyndebourne of Dance’. A spectacular programme of ballet presented by Covent
Garden Dance, performed in the grounds at Hatch House, Wiltshire. The 17th-century Dutch walled garden is transformed into an elegant, fully covered 430-seat dinner theatre where guests enjoy a gourmet dinner and wine pairings alongside world-class performances.

This year’s star-studded cast includes Paris Opera Ballet Etoile Myriam Ould-Braham and Mickaël Lafon, Xander Parish and Joy Womack of the Mariinsky Ballet, and leading artists from The Royal Ballet, English National Ballet, and many others.

Bravo to Zai Calliste! 👏🎉

Hatch House audiences at Ballet Under the Stars, 2025 will no doubt remember the incredible classical and contemporary performances by Zai Calliste, Artist of the English National Ballet.

Well, perhaps unsurprisingly, on Thursday night, we are delighted to announce that Zai won the award for Technical Excellence at the 2026 Emerging Dancer Awards.

We are extremely excited to confirm that Zai will be returning to the Hatch House stage, this July, for Ballet Under the Stars.

We were the first to interview Zai about his latest achievement and learn how joining our stage alongside English National Ballet, Principal Dancers Gareth Haw and Emma Hawes for Ballet Under the Stars 2025, made his transition from vocational to professional dancer feel seamless.

We are proud of the 20 year legacy we hold for identifying, mentoring and showcasing emerging artists and hope Zai had an incredible weekend coming to terms with his fantastic achievement.
