JOIN US! As part of our closing programme at Peckham Levels, IKLECTIK KIN hosts Diasporas Now’s fifth anniversary, a night built entirely around new live collaborations between musicians and movement artists.

✨Programme Spotlight

The evening opens with co-founders RIEKO and Lulu Wang, who lead an improvised soundscape and movement participatory workshop. RIEKO merges a ritual workshop with improvisational orchestral guitar, alongside Lulu, who will guide participants through an improv movement practice.

From here, the evening moves into pairs of experimental musicians and movement artists for improvisational performances that blend industrial club with avant classical instrumentation: violinist SWARMM, cellist sopranoist Ushara Dilrukshan and movement artists Pierre Babbage and Louisa Fernando, closing with a DJ set from Secret Luvvr.

• RIEKO is a multidisciplinary artist whose work is part of an ongoing mythological and propositional world-building project, weaving ritual performance, experimental music, collective healing workshops, curating and community organising into a practice that prototypes alternative futures and cross-industry cultural infrastructures grounded in diversity, equity and artist-guided intuition.

• Lulu Wang is a London-based Chinese interdisciplinary artist who draws on her heritage and digital subcultures to explore hybrid identities and connections across humanity and social relationships, working through sculpture, installation and immersive choreography in collaboration with new technologies, fashion and experimental music.

✨ Throughout, an exhibition of films, prints and memorabilia traces five years of Diasporas Now’s archive, with space built into the evening to walk through it between sets.

IKLECTIK LIVE: CHTHONIC: DESCENT III
FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 25TH

The third edition of the Chthonic: Descent series will sadly see an end to this chapter of brutality that was bestowed upon Iklectik. Offered no reprieve from a merciless, capitalist machine; the venue must soon close its doors, so one final wave of mayhem must engulf the space.

Tears|Ov, A Life On Hold 9/11 remix. Initially Edu of Iklectik suggested an album launch on July 4th due to Tears|Ov’s transatlantic political discourse- but what felt more fitting was was the September 11th 25th anniversary.
Lori was there that day in the west village, looking on in horror as the 2nd plane hit the south tower. Terces watched from M.V.E Greenwich into the neighbouring shoe shop as the towers smouldered and fell. The gravity of that momentous western world occasion melded Tears|Ov together in a 26 year collaboration in life, love and music.
A Life On Hold explores the ongoing terrorism of capitalism and patriarchy on humanity and spirituality; how it often feels like we are all still just missing the mark of actual change - bickering amongst ourselves and crashing like United Airlines Flight 93 whilst we watch a privileged few hit that drive.
Tears|Ov are Lori E Allen, Terces Wale and Lottie Poulet. They collaborate in this show with Pras Visweswaran and Wrench Gooding on visuals. Dog Toy Wind Chime, W.H.Y., The Howling, Non paying buyer, and special guest astrologer Emily Neptune.

After months of uncertainty, significant investment and difficult conversations, we have decided that IKLECTIK will not continue at Peckham Levels.
A major factor has been the denial of the business rates relief we sought as a cultural not-for-profit, despite a long appeals process supported by cultural organisations, local councillors and Music Venue Trust. The current business rates system does not reflect the reality of grassroots cultural spaces like IKLECTIK, where income is continually reinvested into artists, programming and cultural opportunities rather than maximising profit out of the building. While reform of the wider system requires change at the government level, we are deeply disappointed that Southwark Council did not recognise our role as a not-for-profit cultural provider and grant us discretionary rates relief, which is within their power.
Combined with the higher costs of running a venue and our continued reliance on a gig-revenue model, these conditions posed too great a financial risk and would have compromised both the nature and aims of our programming and the well-being of our team.
We want to thank The Trampery, the community at Peckham Levels, Music Venue Trust, and everyone who has supported us, performed with us, danced with us, experimented with us and believed in what an independent space for adventurous culture can be.
While we navigate an extremely challenging period, personally and financially, the best way to support us is to come to our remaining events until 25 October. Every ticket and every person in the room helps us recover, rebuild and shape what comes next.
We are working towards new shapes for our future programming. Stay tuned to learn more soon, and subscribe to our newsletter to stay updated on news about this situation and final programming at Peckham Levels.

We are excited to be hosting the 5th anniversary of DIASPORAS NOW.

This event pairs experimental musicians with movement artists for improvisational performances that blend industrial club with avant-classical instrumentation.

The evening opens with an improvised soundscape and movement workshop led by RIEKO and Lulu Wang, warming up the room before any performance begins. From there, violinist SWARMM, cellist sopranoist Ushara Dilrukshan and movement artist Pierre Babbage come together for a never-before-seen collaboration. Louisa Fernando follows with a dance piece developed specifically for this event, and the night closes with a DJ set from Secret Luvvr.

Throughout, an exhibition of films, prints and memorabilia traces five years of Diasporas Now’s archive, with space built into the evening to walk through it between sets.

This Sunday, Resonance FM caps its new artist-in-residence series, A Week in Air, with a night of live radio art

Agnès Pe is a Barcelona-based composer working with computer music and digital synthesis. Her practice focuses on sound as material, using sampled media, synthetic textures, and digital processing to develop compositional structures. She works with obsolete media, technological errors, and digital artifacts, which she transforms into sonic material through sound collage, plunderphonics, and algorithmic manipulation. She conceives creation as a playful and experimental process that does not seek closed answers, but rather spaces of friction and engagement with the listener’s expectations. Her work moves between experimental radio, listening-based formats, and site-responsive projects, exploring different ways of producing and distributing sound.

Dora Maludi is a writer and artist from London. She began the micro press tallfingerpress in 2024, releasing her first pamphlet ‘The Island’ as well as ‘My Knife is Pink and Other Stories’ in 2025 and ‘bird because it’s true’ in 2026.

Martha Skye Murphy is an experimental vocalist and musician using genre and vocal metamorphosis to dislocate and immerse listeners within encoded narratives. Unpredictable, theatrical and tender, her debut album Um was released via AD93 in June 2024 to critical acclaim. With longtime collaborator, New Zealand guitar composer, Roy Montgomery, they will release their debut joint album, Nebular via AD93 on August 7. Murphy has collaborated with Nick Cave, Squid, LEYA, Roy Montgomery, claire rousay, More Eaze and others. Beyond her music, Murphy is a writer and podcast producer.

Following the release of her acclaimed new album ‘THALASSA’, Scottish-Portuguese sound artist and producer SHHE returns to London for a unique immersive spatial sound performance at IKLECTIK brought to you by Creative Scotland.

Developed over three years, ‘THALASSA’ is a six-part ambient work inspired by SHHE’s time in Alexandria, Egypt, where restrictions on recording the Mediterranean led her to reimagine the sea through voice, electronics, and rare underwater field recordings. Exploring themes of ecology, memory and our relationship with water, the performance transforms the sonic world of the album into an immersive live experience, presented across IKLECTIK’s 14.1 spatial sound system and accompanied by visuals from ‘THALASSA’ collaborator and Egyptian audiovisual artist Nurah Farahat.

“A dreamy, celestial listen, in spite of its themes of impending ecological disaster.” — The Wire

“Stunningly atmospheric.” — Electronic Sound

Opening the evening is New Delhi-based composer, producer, and multidisciplinary artist Sijya. Blending dreamlike synth textures, raw rhythms, and emotionally driven songwriting, she has quickly established herself as one of the most compelling new voices in South Asia’s alternative music scene. Following performances at Boiler Room, Rewire and Lollapalooza India, as well as Tate Modern, Café OTO, and Servant Jazz Quarters, Sijya arrives at IKLECTIK following the release of her acclaimed EP ‘Leather & Brass’.

🎫 Student and General Release Tickets are available on DICE or via our Linktree.

AM sin
London-based duo AM sin create immersive electroacoustic performances through modular synthesis, live vocal processing and audiovisual elements, navigating the space between dark ambient, industrial, drone and experimental electronics. Maria’s voice draws on operatic and choral techniques—from sustained tones and breath to fragmentation and distortion—while Nian’s sound design shapes the project’s sonic architecture, balancing intimacy and collapse, control and disintegration.
