💭Prelims. ⏱️Usually a 30-45 seconds round where each competitor gets a chance to showcase 🎭their expression and understanding of their 💃🏽dance style.
📓Even to this day, no matter how experienced I’ve become over the years, it’s still the most nerve wracking part. 😰😲
A lot of my fellow competitors ask me how I stay so calm throughout it. I always tell them the truth. I am just as nervous. 🗣️🤷🏽♀️
The honest truth is that the nerves never really go away. It always comes from a place of caring and loving this art form so much. ✨But the sooner you make peace with that, the more fun you end up having.💯
But this is what life is about, the journey along the way. My journey took me for the 4th time, 2nd🥈 place Waacking Finalist at Ladies of Hip-Hop 💕
