We're proud to be among the latest organisations to support SPARK: Clean Temporary Power by 2030 Statement of Intent ⚡🎬

We're joining a growing movement across the UK screen industry committed to accelerating the transition away from fossil-fuel generators and towards cleaner temporary power solutions, without compromising creativity or production quality.
Change happens when an industry works together and we're excited to play our part in helping build a more sustainable future for film and TV production.

We're delighted to announce the 2026 Jarman Award shortlist!

The artists selected for the 2026 Film London Jarman Award Shortlist are:

Sadia Pineda Hameed
Ilona Sagar
Rhea Storr
Alia Syed

The 2026 Film London Jarman Award shortlist invites us to step back, look again and change our point of view. The shortlisted artists present work that is brave, poetic and uniquely experimental in its approach. Storytelling, family relationships and oral histories intertwine with home movies, archival footage and abstract images in works that explore migration, identity, and intergenerational trauma. Elsewhere the selected artists tackle diverse themes, from shining a light on the cultural representation of Caribbean diaspora communities in the UK to delivering hard-hitting messages about the structure of society through collaborative works that incorporates interviews and documentary footage.

With our Animation Consultant, Julian Scott, on the ground to help London bang the drum for the city’s animation sector and help companies make connections we thought it was the perfect time to snapshot some of the London-related projects out in force at this year’s Festival, from kids’ TV and returning series to major feature animation projects.
